What does SN stand for IN SN95

never did understand what it stands for.. always heard people talk about SN mustang I know its for the new body style after mine.... maybe someone can help and fill me in........... thanks

I think its just a serial number, sean m can correct me.

N = North America (location of project design engineers)
95 = Project Number

and to clarify, everyone and their grandma thinks that sn95 is what you call a 95 cobra. SN95 is the chassis design from 94-04 if im not mistaking. I know my turd has sn95 somewhere on it.

normally 94-98 are called sn95 and the 99-04 are called New Edge cars kinda like the split between 4eyed and Aero cars.
