Just picked up a 2007 gt auto. Car runs perfect but on the way home I noticed the speedo was reading almost 80 on the interstate cruising with traffic. I'm familiar with gearing but was wondering if there is a rpm vs. mph chart somewhere so I can try to get it calibrated. In case you were wondering it is the black gt deluxe that was at Hudson nissan. Noticed it had roush pipes, triple black, auto... Had to have it. thx

Do you have aftermarket gears in it? You could get a gps to verify the speed. Sometimes traffic does go that fast lol

I would do this, or use a gps on your phone if it is capable

or try the turn the tire and count revolutions of the driveshaft. I would bet it has 4.10's in it which would make the speedo off. It came with 3.55's from factory.

On the '07 Mustang, the PCM will have to be flashed since it provides the signal to the speedo. The PCM gets speed info from the sensor at the back of the trans. There are no speedo gears to change like in the old days. There are 24 pulses from the VSS sensor per driveshaft revolution for this trans.

neat car with the toys already on it!

we got a SUV from them few weeks ago: rims & cold air kit, NEW tires (still had the sticker mushed down in the tread)

i hope you BEAT them down on price. we got it out the door for less than their advertised price.

I don't know. It has A/C and lectric roll up windows. Besides, I thout only LS cars were racecars :poke: I'm new...what do I know?

Ford flashes only do 3.73. I have a cold air and an sct programmer on the way.
