his shoes match his watch band in the inset pic.

wont that a ZZ top song, "sharp dressed man"?

cool. it's neat to get to check out cool things before everybody else

we did a car show when the LS1 camaro was new, and Scott Settlemire did a "grip N grin" and supper and slide show for just club members the night before, was very fun & entertaining. huge burnouts in the demo car :)

We are talking about a Tesla yes?

Did no one see the Top Gear episode with it? I am sure changes have been made since that episode, but it wasn't a good review.....

And I know Top Gear isn't end all be all, but they do work.

I saw both models they have at the CES in vegas this year. The 4dr was pretty sweet with a 17" touch screen that worked the AC, nav and radio.

It was interesting. The owner of the M P Demetre Jewelers is a neighbor and he called me Sunday night and said he was doing a promotion with Tesla and U-Boat watches and asked if we want to come down and take a test drive. I was sort of tepid on the idea but said sure, what the heck.

We drove around downtown and over the connector. It was a quick little go cart (a SRT-10 Quad got an unexpected surprise). It tops out at 125 though.

Now there is no way I'd drop that kind of coin on it but I might entertain the idea of a commuter sedan if the numbers worked. This is the last year of production for the Roadster and the sedan comes out next year.

I've always thought Ken was a bit of a curmudgeon but he was really a nice guy in person. The U-Boat watches were pretty cool too.
