I was waiting to see if anyone else was going to comment on what it cost to get in the gate SUNDAY at bowman, I knew it was $20 dollars to get in at first, I myself like a alot of people went to dorchester just to find out that there tree wasnt working, so everyone said that they were going to BOWMAN!! so I took the drive, I got there around 7:30 and they were charging $30 a person, WTF , then 2 hours later my sister came out there and they were charging $40 a person, THATS JUST INSANE:bs:

Wow. I guess that's how it is when these "promoters" rent the track. I would have drove my ass home.

Yea, my dad drove all the way up there with My little sister and they told him $60 and my dad said we are here just to watch not race and the lady said that will still be $60, so my dad turned around and went back home:hysterical:

yeah they been talkin bout that on grudgeracer. it was all up to the promoters on the price and i think it was wrong that they kept increasing it. track worked great and on Bowmans part they did everything right.

Also i will give them props for putting money back into the track with the paved return road now and new concession stand. clean bathrooms too. i wish they were a little closer

That or these ignorant self claimed "promoters" are getting greedy. I may not make it out to the track often, but I refuse to go to one of these "shows" that have a flier that was made with MS paint.

the funny thing if right after marcus told us he paid $30, Devain said there was someone outside the gate selling tickets for $15

One way to fix that crap is for everyone to get together and boycott a track for a weekend or two. Then you will see the prices become reasonable.

i would of turned around and not gone back for at least a month if that happened.. I'm still kind of sour about going through the gate friday night, then it raining 15 mins after getting there. but thats out of anyones hands. if it looks like it might rain, i wont go next time.

It wasn't the track, it was the "promoters" who rented the track. They can charge or do what they want since they rented it.

Ya, the bad part is most people don't realze that. But, If I were the owner it wouldn't happen again.
