Plug the hole in the header. Hopefully when it blew the plug out it didn't take the threads also.

No the threads are still good. Just got to get a $4 cap and all will be good. That was a long ride home though. :bigthumb:

I rusted out a big quarter size hole in some headers one time and it sounded that way. Really sucks. You still need to trailer the Mustang with the truck so you can still have fun..:bigthumb:

I felt like a flatbed farm truck driving inbred hick douche bag the whole way home. Needless to say I was embarrassed.

So there is a hole in the exhaust header and you drive home on 7 cylinders which caused that noise?

No I was running on all 8. Just imagine a hole cut in one of your header tubes. Everything else is good to go.

Was it just a straight up hole or an o2 bung?

When I read plug, I thought you meant spark plug. Sound audio isn't that great on my phone when I posted at lunch.
