Got a great deal I couldn't pass up on from a friend back at the home town.

Complete Procharger P1SC w/2 core fmic, renegade bracket, 12 rib pulley setup, 6#-9# pulleys, 2 belts, another 255lph pump and 77mm MAF.

Any of you guys around here have any experience with ProCharger systems?

Should hopefully have it on this weekend!

yeah the 12 rib setup is excessive but he cant find the 6 rib pulleys and i dont feel like paying the upwards of 500 bucks for the blower pulley, belt, and crank pulley. Also if he does find them he will send them up for me so no point in buying new ones (yet).

Going to have to move or get a new fan for clearance though thats for sure.

mmmmmm Taco Bell. I installed a pro charger in a V6 Chevy Blazer for a friend a few years ago. That made for a pretty fun truck, it surprised a lot of people.

i've done a vortech on a fox and a vortech on a 4.6, they are all basically the same, bracket blower and piping.....

the 12 rib might not be overkill at 13psi, my 4.6 with vortech sq would slip with an 8 rib at 13psi.....

if you need any miscellaneous parts go here www.superchargersonline.com i bought the vortech head unit, then put the rest of the kit together with all the parts from there for over half of the cost of a new "kit"..

....its a stock ls1 ....

This is starting to become a broad, general term around here. Could mean anything from a fully intact, stock LS1 to a stock block and valve covers.

P.S. That YSI drives me nuts. I don't see how he can stand it.

Got the ProCharger in a couple days ago! Just the cellie engine bay pic right now but will post more when I get a chance to take them.

Rathe then going with a relocation kit for the battery I just got a Honda one that fits like a glove!

No tune yet. Working out a few kinks with setup (maf system, belt kept walking off the crank and the piping on is ... a hack job to say the least but it gets the job done.) Speaking of piping anyone around here willing/able to make some? Doesn't have to be pretty just has to work with hopefully less then the six sections I am using now...

Ah the one where the driver got on it with a big ass smile on his face!? Was having a crappy morning that made me laugh! That was actually the first time I had taken it out after the install and also when the serp belt came apart and slapped my arm pretty good . If I looked pissed/ like an asshole that's why.

Was looking at taking it to DIY for the tune b/c they are the only ones who said they would be able to do it. Called a few others and was told they couldn't do it. Haven't really heard good bad or anything about there ability though.

dont go to DIY for the tune..... just dont.... if you need to know why, ask them what they are going to tune it with!

Will keep that in mind.

Called the ShowZone, AV tuning, and HHP and was told wideband baseline is all they could do for it.

I have a Quarthorse for it so just been tinkering around with my (very) limited knowledge on street tuning it.

If you have Quarter Horse and software already, then we can help you. If you called Jeff about the tuning, he would have assumed you didn't have anything unless you told him otherwise.

Watch the older 12 rib belt set ups, they are the ones that break crank snouts in higher boost applications. Other then that the only real thing to watch out for is the 600 plus hp mark on a stock 302 block, I have split my fair share and jeff Hines had to..:bigthumb:
