well if its not a Ford power only then itll be a regular night at a race track...but ok.

LDELEE
06-27-2011, 05:56 PM
I would like to have it all Ford cars, engine brand doesn't matter. Hopefully, that would help the car count. I spoke to a racer saturday that has a ford but chevy engine. He said if he was allowed he would be interested in participating. Im cool with whatever the majority rule

freddy231
06-27-2011, 05:59 PM
it says any engine combo but if it's only ford you still got tuten and some real fast ford combos out there. so gamble or stay home you never no the fast car doesn't always win.

LDELEE
06-27-2011, 06:03 PM
We tried to structure the purse(only $1,ooo to win) so that it wouldn't be that interesting to guys like Tuten. That way it gives the smaller guys a chance to race and have fun. If we can get atleast 1o cars to enter, I'm sure we will try to do it once a month.

Yes, Robert you are correct. As long as it's a Ford make of car it's allowed. Engine brand doesn't matter.

Wes, it's ironic that you ask about the 330' timers. As i was just talking to one of the Top Dragsters driver Sunday on the subject of 330' timers and the abundance of valuable data a racer can aquire from them. He also stated that they tune there cars based on the 330' distance cuz that's where the car make the most horsepower. Currently we don't have them, but after that conversation and your inquiry we will look into getting them. I also was wondering besides Carolina, what other area tracks have them?

They all have them. Bowman, Carolina, Darlington, Orangeburg, Macon, Fayetteville, etc etc and any other track that I have ever been to up and down the east coast. I think Midway even has one. I won't test at a track with no 330 because that's some important info. I can see most of what I need to see on the racepak, but the time on the ticket is the most important piece of info. Thanks for checking into it.
