Painting my shop

we will be painting the shop here soon and didnt know if anyone has any experience with doing this on a large metal sided building. i will pressure wash it a day or two before to get it clean but i think my biggest question is how much paint goes how far. oh and if anyone has a 5 gallon paint sprayer
