Mess up brakes

Just put a line lock on the car and had the brakes blead by a professional, but im having some issues still. The car drive fine, and brakes fine for 20-30 mins. Then i guess when they start heating up for some reason they are sticking on me almost to the point where i cant move and had to nearly do a burnout to get them moving again. Going to check the wireing on the line lock but im pretty sure its not causeing it since it only happens once its heated up. Any ideas???

and make sure the brake lines are going into the right port.

Well the kit came with 1 prebent line for the front, the other is the original line so it only fit on the correct port. was only like a 8inch peice of piping running from the master to the brake lines that got switched out. I knew i would have to bleed them so i had it done and the brakes work as they did before.... now just the sticking issue.

Unhook the solenoid. If it still does it id honestly look at the solenoid being defective leaving pressure on the front brakes. Get a laser thermometer and see how hot they are getting, if both are getting the same temp then id bet something is wrong with the line lock solenoid, even new babies die

This. If it's working fine, then stops working, it definitely seems like a sticking solenoid.

Unhooked the power to it and took it for a drive, i didnt seem to have any issues with them sticking even after about 30 mins... calling the company up today to find out what the dealio is.

So now SLP wants a written letter by a shop mechanic saying my brakes are in working order, and that the line lock soleniod is probably messed up and then they will send me another solenoid.... The fucked up part is Firestone refuses to write the letter because all they did was inspect my brakes and bleed them... and since they didnt install the line lock they wont write the letter and claims its a liability to the company. So any shop feel like writing a letter so i can fax it to american muscle and get my replacement ^^

How is it wired? Sounds like power is feeding threw it

It has 2 prongs, one running to the batery, one running to a switch. Then the switch has a ground. I followed the directions exactly and the switch came with the kit and was pre wires, and already had the spades put on it also to slide on the prongs.

My concern with the kit itself is, its close to the valve cover, and im sure its getting some heat.... but i cant move it anywhere because the lines are prebent and they are pretty short.

My linelock has a power and ground. And I have a constant ground on mine with a switch on the 12 volt side. Try that. Its getting power somehow. Voltage drop the ground. Get a volt meter

seems to me, i might be stupid saying this that mounting the solenoid would cause a ground depending on how the solenoid was made, that is why i did mine like i did. see what im saying? if there is constant power to it and the completion of the circuit is when its grounded then mounting it might slightly engage the solenoid. see what im saying?

if its mounted to metal. take it off. put some rubber between the solenoid and mounting surface. problem solved. sometimes it hurts being this awesome

Sure do, i didnt think about any of that. theres not much i can do about moving it, but maybe i can keep it from grounding to something by wraping it. May help with the heat also.

can you just put the switch on the power side of things?
