I have a natural tendency to go 3-5 over. How about you?

I think of them as guidelines. LOL. Actually I am usually in the 5-10 mph over range.

5 over around town and 10 over on the interstate are pretty standard for myself. I've been lucky, but my wife hasn't. 3 mf'n tickets, a 5 mph, 7 mph, and 11 mph all listening to "my humps." So if she hears that song now she changes it hahahaha

I drive up to 5 over in town and up to 10 over on the Interstate (well, except that time I got pulled over doing 84 in a 70 last year, whoops).

Took a health risk assessment thing at work yesterday and that was one of the questions. Told me I was at a higher risk of death/injury because of it and it asked my willingness to change

I once made it from Charleston to Miami in 7 hours. I had the trucks cruise control set to 110 mph the whole way. My parents that live in Charleston and my inlaws that live in Columbia left 2 hours before us and I caught up to them in West Palm Beach. LMAO

At what point do you pull over someone who is speeding? Do you ignore the guy who passes you in the fast lane as all the other retards go 5 under just because you are a cop?

Good.

Nothing pisses me off more than to see a LEO that is clearly out of his jurisdiction hauling ass on the interstate or changing lanes improperly.

Usually 5 over, 10 in the interstate. Had one really rough ticket so I chilled out.

12 mph. When I worked the road, I was never big on writing tickets though.

Just a thought, does anybody else ever drive on Murray Ave. in Hanahan? I swear, every damn person there goes 10 UNDER the speed limit. EVERY damn person. Makes me want to pull a Carmageddon.

My old man got a ticket once in Dallas for obeying the limit while everyone was doing 90+ on the interstate. In town I try to keep with the follow of traffic and on trips the usual 5-10.

In hanahan I do dead on the limit. I got a hefty fine for 3mph over a few years ago all while passing on north rhett. During rush hour I would love to do the posted limit. But end up going about 20 under. Everywhere else is whatever mood I am in. I have been pulled before going 91 in a 70 while towing a trailer that wasn't ours while in a vehicle that wasn't mine, with a license in pieces. No ticket

Well..I don't consider my Evo fast, but it does alright. Good enough to smack some pee-pees in the dirt from time to time.

The bad part: I brought the wrong car for the Autobahn (knife to a tank fight). It carves the backroads up with a fiercness..fucking fierceness, but it's not a bahn-stormer.

It's not geared to cruise like the cars over here (what 4-banger is?). I may blast an MB/Audi from 90 to 150, but in this twitchy car it feels like I'm doing 200mph at that speed. I don't like cruising above 120 (5K+rpms) for long periods of time. The idea of double the axles and diffs, plus a transfer case spinning that fast, for that long, makes me think something is gonna lock up and catapult me off the road. So I cruise at 100-110. I'm a paranoid puss. I watched too many episodes of "CHPs" growing up, where speeding cars flip over and blow up.

6-8 cylinders + 7-speed auto/6-speed mannys > AWD 4-banger

Should of brought a Vette.....but then the snow/ice comes and I'm glad I have AWD.

I worked at a Bosch plant in Homburg S/E of Luxembourg for a while back in 2000 - 2001. Just long enough to understand the language. Forgot all of it now.

I've been to Homburg back in the late 90's (was at Ramstein 98-00). They had that one giant cave underground that the town used as a bomb shelter during WWII. I probably have a half dozen unclaimed Children in the neighboring town of Neunkirchen! Spangdahlem is about an hour west of Homburg, so really, really close to Luxembourg.
