good sushi in sville/gc/nchuck??

friend of ours is coming down from cola to see us...we had a sushi place up there but dont know of any good ones down here...what do you suggest?

Redleaf in the oakbrook walmart shopping center. Sun-Wed is half off sushi as well. We normally go every sunday and eat 5-6 rolls for $20.

Fuji's in the Longpoint shopping center in Mt. P is the best Sushi I've had in Charleston by far.

sushi is comparable to any other place and they get a lil artistic with it.

I like the food at wasabi better but its not bad by any means, they have a seafood soup thats probably the best i've ever had though. Prices are slightly cheaper than wasabi.

Every time Ive ordered Hibachi Filet Mignon from Tenichi and had them deliver it to the house Ive gotten something other than Filet that reminds me more of Venison Jerky. I never have tried their sushi though.

Same thing happens to me when I order delivery from there. I quit ordering delivery from there because of that. Its not that way when you dine in though its pretty decent.

This is one of the best Sushi places I have ever eaten at. I'm not just talking about in Charleston either. This place compares to some of the sushi I've had in Vegas, San Francisco, and Seattle. Once you go here you won't go anywhere else.

Tenichi is marginal at best. I like Kobe on Ashley Phosphate and Red Leaf is good on the half price days.
