I'll post pics once it's washed.
I paid $14,300
2006 TBSS rwd LT
-86k miles
-leather, rear a/c
-flowmaster exhaust (I couldn't tell if the cats and resonator is there or not)
-spectre cai (just the tube and high flow filter)
-aftermarket head unit
-aftermarked DVD entertainment system in the rear
-all boston acoustics speakers
-some badging overlays
-HID's
I'm going to put some headers on it and he gave me some ls1 electric fans and the harness and a 160 tstat, so I'll do that as well.
Anyone have hp tuners with a tune file I can view :bigthumb:
Problems I've found:
-looks like the fuel gauge is slow
-Service air bag comes on the dash
-broken wheel stud
-trim pieces on the seats fall down. I guess they need new clips

Sending unit in tanki is a problem with these. I just got a letter in the mail from GM that they are now paying 50% of costs to replace it, FYI.
Don't know about the airbag, but the wheel stud isn't that bad, I had to do two as well.
Trim pieces in these things don't like being removed more than once. Once they start being like that, the clips need replacing for sure. For the small ones that I had problems with, I used some butyl tape (like for old style windshields) and stuck it in the hole that the clip clips into.
WHAT COLOR?

The ls1 fans came with it along with the harness and 160 tstat.
I just need to buy headers and ORY. I'll probably get the OBX ones.

I had the coated pacesetters on my camaro a few years back. The coating immediately rusted and started peeling a few months after running them.
Unless I get them dirt cheap, I'll be buying the OBX's

I didn't realize that the obx set comes with a 2.5" y pipe and that the pacesetters with the ory are almost 100 bucks cheaper for brand new ones

Yep. The pacesetters really look nice, we will see how they hold up.

How long have you had them and how many miles so far?

Ummm, had them since first of June or so. Almost 6K miles, and not a problem. You will need GM manifold gaskets though as the PaceSetter ones SUCK. Probably will ruin a couple of your bolts as well, might want to go ahead and get some header bolts.
Also, the clamps that come with the y-pipe arent the greatest. I used some wide stainless band clamps on mine and they worked out great.
Pics of headers can be found here:

i was really impressed with my OBX headers when i installed them last weekend... the fit is great and went together fairly easily... plus the polished stainless just looks badass :bigthumb: i got the ones with the high flow cats in the y-pipe and even with that, my shit is LOUD (almost loud enough to mask the rod knock :hide:)

I washed it yesterday and was only able to get two pics before the downpour happened. It was raining pretty much all day yesterday. You can see rain on the truck already in the second pic, that's right when it started

Rip those fender wells off and paint them.

Don't need to paint em. Scrub em real good with simple green and a brush. Then put some tire stuff on em. Good as new.
