Maybe it is me, but it looks like the Mustang jumped the light, slightly.

First race was heads up pro tree, they asked for. Supra didn't move off the light I got him a few links. Second race Supra got the back tire and got to stage first to build boost. I staged front tire and we left on a sportsman tree (1-2-3-green) I asked for so I could build boost too.

I cut an .031 light on the pro tree and a .009 light on the sportsman tree. That is all of it in a nutshell.

So he cut some pretty damn good lights

x2, needs an auto badly if he wants to talk smack about the track, it sure sounded nasty though!

And who brings a roll of 20's for a $2400 bet? Just sayin...

I think they lost more than 2400, if i remember from reading right it was like 4400 or 4800. The 20s is probably like derek said, all the fools hitting the atm right before the race lol.

I'm about to get flamed until I looked like a charcoal brisket. . .

1/4 mile is where it's at.

(I say that because I pick up almost 40 MPH in the back half.) :hysterical:

But seriously, I have a feeling the outcome would have been different if the track was the proper length. :-p

I agree, the Supra didn't have time to catch up.

Thats what us heavy guys like, my shit dont even get going till the 330 mark. 1/4 mile the supra probably would have drove around him... they even were saying he was traping close to 140 in the 1/8th. All hearsay but he was definitly traveling alot faster than the stang. Auto and a good driver and i still think it would be a good race in the 1/8th, in the 1/4 with a auto i dont think the mustang can hang.

Hard to believe he would make up the 4cars. Aren't they both turbo cars?

Supras are known to pick up RIDICULOUS speed in the back half. There's a reason I don't race 1/8th mile - and it's because I don't have a Powerglide.

Gotta learn to drive that thing. Brandon gives classes.

I know how to drive, but when you're having to feather because of traction issues (Mostly due to 3.73's and first and second gear being worthless,) you're going to lose. Spinnin' ain't winning.

I don't have a power glide either. Yet I have no problem with the 1/8 mile. Maybe you need some suspension work?

I have the Ford Racing FR3 package. (http://www.fordracingparts.com/images/Part/250x250/M--FR3-MSVT.jpg) My car is a street car. Definitely not built for drag racing. It's not that I have a problem with the 1/8th mile, it's that I'm not purpose-built for it.

Dont got to be purpose built for it to enjoy it some. Sure you wont reach the full potential, but my car is on stock suspension and i know what it SHOULD run, its not even close but i still have a good time. Here shortly im going to give it a suspension make-over but we still have to remember were driving close to 4000lb street cars, not gutted out 2800lb mustangs. I also still have the 6spd in mine, i think its more fun to slam gears... even when you suck at it as bad as me.

I heard that, 3980 here and that is with the slight weight reduction we performed to get to that
