Insurance?

I've got the basic full coverage on my Camaro that will be driven a few miles on the street. What options are out there for race cars? I'd hate to have the bitch go up and flames and just have to chalk it up to a loss.

I want insurance to cover the value of the car, race car insurance or collector car insurance, whatever it is.

I don't think it would qualify for collector car insurance, and race car insurance would most likely be more than standard collision. What's the problem with what you have?

Gieco will let you insure what ever you want for the dollar value you desire. It's a small fee of course. When I had my trailblazer ss I had $2500 on electronics and $2500 on wheels and tires. It was around $6 extra a month.
