I would say that cage was shit, seems to me it should have kept its shape... that was some abuse but ive seen far more violent crashes with intact cages.

That cage strength sure wasn't much, especially just turning over on soft sand. That cage must have been built with chain link post!

I didn't think the truck would ever quit rolling back downhill! Gravity sure sucks in that situation.
