Turbo 5.4 and there a lot of cheap parts in the local junk yards. No reason you couldnt make 1000 hp.

They are just SO BIG! I think my LS is the way to go. I do like the all Ford deal tho. A 32 valve Navigator motor would be cool.

yeah, 5.4 would be nice too. Only problem is the GOOD go fast parts for mod motors arnt cheap. With the mach longblock and a cheap turbo its easily a 600+hp motor thats reliable.

The wrong direction is putting a chevy motor in a ford. Either way hes in a bad spot and im sure hes on a budget since hes getting into a new place. Put whatever you want in that engine bay, either way you got my support.:bigthumb:

Tough tough times man. You swap engines like I swap turbo's. lol. I may be able sell you a DBB 76mm in the next month or so. Also swapping out some 80lb injectors and a 02 ls6 cam.

I don't know why. The auto's are 6-bolt cast and the 5-speeds are 8-bolt steel. There are plenty of guys that have taken the cast cranks to 600 hp and 7k rmp's, and it's lighter. Also, 2 different companies made the cranks. I can't remember the name for the cast, but the forged were made by kellog.
