By the calculators I've used I'm already going quicker than I should be. As far as tires go I was able to stick it when I did proper burnout so they are getting it done for now . They definitely aren't gonna be sufficient on spray later on. I actually need rims AND tires on the car and that would drop alot of weight getting rid if these heavy street rims. I think im gonna ease off the track time until it cools down though. No point flogging it in this heat.

Funny thing those calculators. At 451hp mine runs 6.30's at 3200 lbs?

chrisheltra 07-02-2012 01:56 PM

You guys should see what those calculators say for 5000 lbs.

ShawnBoyMoody 07-02-2012 02:28 PM

I think they are actually pretty accurate for milder rigs and lose accuracy with big converters and nitrous. Calculators were always pretty accurate on my red car.

Or atleast I think they were lol.

ShawnBoyMoody 07-02-2012 02:43 PM

The app I have on my phone says to go 7.46 at 2900 lbs it takes 368 HP. Mine did 357 so thats close.

Can't be. SBF can't make that kind of power.

Lol @ this. I borrowed my buddys g-tech performance meter and put it in my white dually and did the 1/4 mile test.....It said I was making like 1800 HP. Those devices go crazy when you're using them on a 6800 lb vehicle.

You're supposed to enter motor horsepower too, not just your first stage.
