Sync is pretty sweet. It allows you to make hands free calls via bluetooth with your cell. They also give you a 6 month free trial to sirius.

I kept it pretty simple. I preferred to have the 18's but they couldn't find one in inventory so I ponied up the extra cash to get the car sooner than 6-8 weeks.

+10000......Fukn Sweet Chris!!! How does she move out? Is it a Dark Shadow Grey? Wonder how a 2011 V6 would do with a Ford Racing Aluminator long block and Whipple? Enjoy!! Look forward to seeing her!

Congrats Chris. Enjoy the new beast.

It moves pretty good but nowhere near as fast as the truck but would never expect it to. The color is called Sterling Gray Metallic.

When you install the Aluminator and Whip give me a hollar I want a ride in that mofo.:hysterical:

I agree between this the SHO and the Raptor I feel that Ford has a strong lineup of desirable vehicles. Much more so than the other american brands IMO.

05Saleen 06-15-2010 07:59 AM

Looks great Chris! :bigthumb:

Derek 06-15-2010 08:23 AM

Damn good starting point.

Magoo 06-15-2010 09:29 AM

Very nice Chris, congrats man!

snakeplissken 06-15-2010 10:28 AM

Nice one. I'd like to get a 500 this fall.

chrisheltra 06-15-2010 10:33 AM

Ive already asked Shane this but what are some larger/national forums for mustangs that I can do some reading up on?

Not dissing your truck, but with a 125 shot, id bet with the otherwise stock GT. :bigthumb:

I wouldnt. That would more than likey be a foolish bet once I get the truck sorted out IMHO.

Im not starting an argument by any means, but the mid 10 second passes on the new GTs are with unrealistic minimal mods. At the end of the day, theyre both your vehicles so it really wouldnt matter.

I did not take it as you intending to start an argument either :cheers Im up for a little bit of discussion and/or a good healthy non threatening debate every once in a while.

But the quickest '11 Ive seen so far has ran a 10.58 on a 175 IIRC and a lot of other little mods. I really hope my L would be faster than that once I turn up the boost, timing and add better fuel and get some better weather. Then if its not I may think about adding a shot to the truck.

Either way it doesnt matter because the Mustang will be staying mostly stock for a few years more than likely. I want to take full advantage of the warranty.

Your forgetting one key ingredient. :finger:

www.allfordmustangs.com is a pretty large mustang forum. www.corral.net is another one.

MonteC 06-15-2010 12:43 PM

allfordmustangs.com
mustangforums.com
mustangevolution.com

These three have the biggest '11 sections.

Id love to have them Mike but between the $700 I spent for the wheels on this car I didn't necessarily need but had to get and the $700 I spent on fixing the AC on Sunday I just cant swing the cash to get your wheels. I was all set to go until those things happened.
