From dealing with darryl's LTD you will not get a big shot to hook with a DOT tire out the hole . I know your going to run a progressive controller that will save you from hitting the bumper unlike the people you are talking about .

And no car will dead hook on the street and track with the same set up . You might have some special pixie dust to put on the tires but it's 2 different variables . Yes I know about your set up youve told me about everything and I've yet to say anything . So I have an idea of what you will be capable of running .

sidenote : your not going to get a grudge race with wheelie bars so get rid of them . People are going to see them and thing the car is more than what it really is . So do yourself a favor and tune the suspension without them . Believe me i hear the crying bullshit excuses people come with for money runs every weekend at the track .

really? tell that to chevypower, ls1queen, next and about 5 others from need2speed and ls1tech who run 9.3's to 9.1's on a 200-300 shot out of the hole.

and you are exactly right, i will need to change my suspension constantly to hook on the street AND track, so in all that changing of suspension geometry there is a good chance i will learn the hardway what will bring the car on the bumper and what will make it spin. this is an even better reason to have some save your ass bars....

and i know i won't get runs with them, they are removable. i've got it all planned out jeff. ;) but like i said, i am not going to risk breaking everything just to not run them.

Those people you mentioned who I have no idea who they are probably run at a real track , not the every day joe schmo hole in the wall like dorchester , greelyville etc. . And besides running 9.1s is in the high 5's in the 1/8th again they wouldn't do anything but a pro mod burnout at a everyday track shooting that much out of the hole with DOT tires . A real track and a ghetto track are 2 different things you know that after being around Orlando , Bradenton then running here .

most of them run bradenton. but yes, this is true, shitty tracks are different from nice ones.... but i have seen dot cars hook at places like dorchester and screven etc.
