I'm fat and I can run a 11 min mile and a half. We run 3 5k's a week and I'm usually done in about 25-26 mins.
It's all about breathing. That and not drinking the night before hahaha |

I'm about 40lbs heavier than last time I ran, which was about 14yrs ago. I'm going to keep running and try to get that 40lbs off. I really didn't think I could possibly be as slow as I was. 14 min mile:roll:

we did 3 miles 3 times a week when i was military, i was senior enlisted in the Dept, and made all my kids come PT 3x a week, then when the guys made Cheif, we had CPO fun runs 3x a week, guy at my work is 50, pops 100 pushups & 5 miles every morning. i pop the alarm clock every morning :( |
my 65ish year old sales rep runs 5 miles before work everyday...I can run a sub 10 minute mile at 285 lbs..yal are slack as hell.
