He resigned.
http://www.wwaytv3.com/2013/03/20/fi...ic-incident-sc "Law enforcement sources in South Carolina tell WWAY they have had frequent encounters with Walton, who they say often drives around recording video of law enforcement officers trying to catch them in bad situations." Huh. |
Man it would be nice is everybody could just quit their jobs instead of being held accountable for what they did

I hate the pro-cop bias of that article. Nothing against cops but the story was skewed to the blue side. I'm pretty sure that douche didn't have a choice in staying employed..but the "job offer" was a front to make the department look good to the media. (Or maybe to other departments...) |
How is what he did anything short of road rage, reckless endangerment and reckless driving?

Just as the police, police us, they themselves should be policed. There are good cops out there, and then there are bad cops that believe that a badge gives them authority to make their own laws and their jobs evolve into something its not supposed to be. This guy was the latter of the two. |
FUK DA PO-LICE
....except papa bear...he's good in my book |

Even if something was done that wasn't on camera, how does that in any way warrant the officers very poor choice of actions? I still think its bs he wasn't sited with a ticket.

I'm pretty sure that's the same chad back from the bike days. Funny of all people to get cop in trouble, lol.

Ironically, my buddy just dropped his FZS off at his shop today for some supercharger upgrades...

I remember a time in the place I grew up in N.C. where County cops would show up to the street races (out in rural areas) to watch and then let you know when the HWP were on the way so we could leave in time. I guess it all hinges on the kind of person you are to begin with. I've met some "really good City/County/SCHP" in my time of living here that could have really hung me out to dry but instead gave me warnings and let me be on my way. |

Fucking awesome.
|
That dispatcher is a retard!
|
Yeah. She was very condescending... I understand how absurd it sounded but she needs to not assume he's in the wrong.
|
The dispatcher is definately not the sharpest toll in the box. There are two sides to every story. The cop was in the wrong, but IMO, this guy is a also scumbag and has a rap sheet to prove it.

That Guy is a racer, and owns a motorcycle shop here in CHS. |

My point is that he apparently goes out of his way to try to catch someone else doing wrong. Most officers are just doing their jobs, and breaking the law is not a reason to hate them. Some take it too far. I have been run into the median on 526 to and from work by reckless drivers and wished the police were nearby. This guy now has folk hero status, so I guess he got what he wanted. |
Who's got the rap sheet?

Let me ask you guys this... Would it have been more acceptable to side with the victim if he had a clean record with no violations?
Would you guys be more inclined to call the officer wrong? |

Wow, that guy is fumes waiting for a match to be struck! |
