That will be better for me. Can get the nitrous tuned in and hopefully get the suspension worked out. I need to come and see you about doing my exhaust like you did Jeffs.

I don't understand this hire-a-driver concept you guys in the South have. It's completely new to me.

Oh about buying a race. I dont know if Stan in N.C. is still doing your work or not but he will be the first to tell you money is no problem on my end. The last motor he help me with was 18,000 dollars ran 5.20 on one gun.:bigthumb:

And putting it in the gardrails a 5 sec car isn't something you simply point and shoot. Alot of owners will end up building somthing faster than there comfort level then throw a stack of money on it the pressure can be unbarable at times. Sometimes letting a seasoned driver pilot puts you car in safer hands.

Wow after reading that it could be interpreted that I was being a dick. Not so just wanting to share my veiw on hired guns.

It makes sense, but I don't see the enjoyment in it. Why own a car that is out of the range of the owner's skill level? I would have sacrificed a couple horsepower and saved the money for professional driving lessons, so I could actually enjoy my money pit.

well in my case Brandon is more than able to scoot his car down the track, and I know for a fact hes not scared of it, but when it comes grudge racing some crack under pressure!! not saying brandon does, some just want to get paid, its all in how you drive

My car isn't fast enough to throw down coin. The most I race for is an autographed dollar. Because Street Car. :finger:

Just saying brandon can't cut a light for shit.and I am the best hope he has to possibly get paid in a grudge race. The race is usually won or lost in the first 60 feet.

Corrected it for you. I have always wanted to do that..:bigthumb:

You already told everyone you could swap to a windsor in a day. So you have 8 of em. Next Friday at Bowman, head up, plate to plate. Bring your $13.50 and call some people from Columbia since you wanna say smart comments about how much money I have.

You got 408 and gas. We will drive to Bowman together let them cool. You motor me motor with a little justice. We can meet in 30 mins and I will lock 5 thousand dollars in if you make the race right. What the fuck you want to do?

read what was bolded in the first quote. Come again crying. I didnt say I wanted to run your 302 base anything. Nor do I pick on cars. Picking on cars would be running scared until you build an aftermarket block car with a huge huffer, then call out a car that hasnt changed in 2 years..... :fial:

It really boils down to the purpose of your car.If ya built it to have fun your probably gonna drive it. If you built it to make money you do everything you can to make it faster somtimes that meens getting a driver that works well with the car. Just look at nascar I don't know if there are any owner drivers left. Never meant to say brandon didn't have skill I have seen him hop in sombodys car and cut a tenth off there best time.
