There is no kinda sorta about that. FWIW the car laid down on gas doesn't usually turn out well.

Tubular k-member!!!! The hours you have spent going around your ass to get to your elbow could easily make up the cost. How many times have you pulled that thing in the last six months!?!

Ah got the trans all taken out with it to avoid the removal of the K-member? I can't ser the pix on the computer I'm on. I am waiting for the flywheel to get here and then I am going to be putting the cobra together. It can take its time though. 11 degree nights and 30 degree days makes for quick numbness. Rolled it out and washed it yesterday. Before I could get around to dry it the water had frozen. What. The. Fuck. Lol

Gonna need the kmember for them turbo things you been talking about getting anyway!

yea i already talked to Ray. hopefully she'll be at the track next saturday

randy will i need a retune with this new shortblock?

2001hawk 12-21-2012 02:44 PM

Hard to tell from the pics. Looks like they got peppered and nicked by pieces of the piston. Doesn't quite look just like carbon deposits knocked off. Like I told you before those could be fixed maybe just by smoothing them out, but the heads could be built back up and ported back down if the nicks were considerable.

1SMKN99 12-21-2012 03:08 PM

Ray said he can fix it so im a little less dicouraged now
