Unless something as changed: RS3>DZ*specs>RE11
I've ran the Direzza star specs and they were a total AX tire, just like I'm sure the RS3s are. Gripped like crazy, handled the heat, stiff sidewalls....but laughable in the rain, loud as fuck and wore-out in under 10K miles (comes w/the territory). All three of these tires are NOW classified as "200 Wear rating" to conform to the new street tire requirements. |
I put 4k miles on the set on my cobalt... The only time they got too hot was when i was over driving the car... and then they had breakaway characteristics similar to an R-Compound...
side by side on two cars at the track the SS will uberpwn the RE11's lap times... |

I've been thinking about upgrading the ///Mslow tires to NT05s...right now it has Pilot Sport A/S which I doubt will be that good at an autox.
|
I got nt05's on Camaro. Theyre great for the price, but just ok when compared to the GTO's suoer sports.
|
I've got BFG's.

At least on my car they are the perfect tire. |
I've been thinking of upgrading to the new pros, I'm on Hoosiers now and they are pretty sticky for a street tire

It is also worth noting when I was at the Michelin Proving Grounds I was told the rivals use the same compound of rubber as the Super Sports. BFGoodrich and Michelin are the same company. |
Gonna put on some Rivals and come Monaro hunting.
