i wouldn't do the swap either. you would be surprised once you got started what all that is involved. i have seen some pretty good deals on ebay with power adders that i would do for a six but a swap is way more complicated than you would think. but i do understand the insurance bit

so what is a cheap way to add some hp to my v6?

Nitrous won't kill your car any quicker or easier than any other form of power adder. It gets a bad wrap because it is often in the hands of dumbasses. I bet you could very easily shoot a 75 to 100 shot on your car with absolutely no issues.
If you want cheap horsepower, this is the first (and probably only) choice.

SenorSmoothie 12-30-2009 11:06 PM

If you dont use it properly, yes. If you use it properly, no.

SenorSmoothie 12-31-2009 02:17 PM

Ok. So would like a 50 or 75 shot be as high as I would wanna go?

Illusions 12-31-2009 02:24 PM

nitrous is safe. its all in the tune. just like Sc and turbos. The tune is important and not talking mail order either.

SenorSmoothie 12-31-2009 04:16 PM

Where would I go to get it tuned?
