Here is another idea. We cut the list off at 20 cars, and only allow the fastest 20 cars. ......... and for those of us that don't make the list we can come up with something else.

How are you going to know whos the fastest 20 cars, because right i have not seen a true time from anyone that has posted, you should pick a day that everyone that wants to be in it tdl, has to make a pass to figure out whos the fastest,

I was thinking about that too. That would be the best way to do it if we could get everyone there.

I would do a 2 weekend tryout, that way if someone that cant make it to the first one, can show up at the next one, then take all the times to figure out the top 2o

We could always get up a track day at Bowman and run the race like an event. Or once someone gets beat on the list replace them with someone else... it's kind of cut throat but it may work.

Just allow call outs up to six places. Then anyone can make it to the top.

I was thinking 8 places till your in the top 10 then back down to 3. the Top Dog will have to race back to back against 2,3 and 4 in a row

I think this would work. Keep one list, even though everyone is probably sandbagging on the ET's.

Everyone except me. I put down a NA number for my car. Sure it will go faster on spray but I'm not sure I want to spray in these races.

I was also honest with my ET, although the car still has potential to be slightly quicker. Then you got bad bob and his 7.40's... he will never be that fast. :boohoo:

I dont even know what my truck will run now. I figured Id go slower due to traction issues.

so say if your #11 and you jump 8 places up then you really didnt have to race the faster cars that were infront of you so you may prematurely move too high up without working for it.

the cars in front of you should be slower cars but its still not ideal

I will never be perfect. Thet's aim for good enough. As long as you have to race number one to be number one it will work out.

I think once the faster cars are at the top of the list it will be alright. Then you'll see guys racing to move up just one spot, instead of 8.

I thought you wanted to promote racing on the forum.....20 cars = 10 actual races!

If you don't make the list, you can challenge the lowest person on there for a spot. Then work your way up. I think the jumping 7+ or 8+ is kind of a big jump. If you're into it for the racing then race every single person above you.. prove you deserve to be on top.
