Now that I think about it I have the same question there is a certain Z06 I want to ride in.

1iron 04-24-2009 07:24 PM

Anyone know if they will have race gas? I might shoot my junk and I would rather be safe than sorry.

I would assume they wouldnt, but Ive never been to the track to know if they have their own tanks of race gas like lowcountry did or not.

Lets meet at 11:30 I have a Garmin that has never let me down even in Hawaii.

Ok nevermind I tried to find it and the Garmin found a road called Berrie but not berrywood.

slowgreen99 04-24-2009 09:19 PM

its not hard....get off on the bowman exit....take left....when you get to 178, take right....go down a few miles and look for a little sign that says "drag strip" and turn right....go down about a mile and there will be another little sign that says "drag strip" on your left....go that way and boom.

05Saleen 04-24-2009 09:25 PM

The little sign kills me......Need binoculars?

2 things....first, big hoods mean absolutely nothing, and second, thats two pics cropped together.....My car has stock body panels, stock motor, stock hood, wing, tranny, seats, bla bla....its full bolt ons and gas with 133000...WTFWSAT watched it roll over.

98Camarod 04-25-2009 06:09 AM

So 12:30 at the rest area then?

clubracergt1 04-25-2009 06:24 AM

That was my thought. Which Bowman exit is it, though? I really don't feel like driving through a sod farm again. My Garmin is set to avoid unpaved roads, but you never know.

slow04 04-25-2009 06:34 AM

Up 26 past 95 to first Bowman exit, left off exit,go 5 miles to deadend, that is 178, make a right, go about 3 miles you'll see a school on the right, just past the school make a right on tradewinds(sign says dragstrip) go about a 1/2 mile make a left on Berrywood(sign says dragstrip) and there you are

because I'm on my way to work now, and I doubt I'll be off early enough to make it before 6, so I hope to see some good videos posted.

Well damn if you can recite all of that from a fragile memory why dont you meet up with us and show us the way?

DolSVT00 04-25-2009 08:57 AM

I plan on leaving my house at around 12:30, If anyone is In the Creek and wants to follow, (Goose Creek) My house is the last house on the left On Barrington BLVD and Foxborough road........ (Off of 176 turn at Big T's gas station and go to the end of the road)

LXtasy 04-25-2009 09:50 AM

Dave, hope you are bringing the grill still.

We still plan on coming up.

As far as race gas at the track. I know that have a truck container there that has it on site, but who knows if they will have it opened.

Dave 04-25-2009 09:59 AM

Yes, I am bringing the grill, some hotdogs and hamburgers, potato chips, and some soda. I'm bringing ketchup, mustard, cheese, and plates. If anyone wants lettuce, tomatoes, or onions, please bring it because I forgot to get it.

clubracergt1 04-25-2009 10:19 AM

So, who all is planning on meeting up at the rest stop? I just don't want to be sitting there forever waiting for someone to show up.

Dave 04-25-2009 10:28 AM

LOL, my wife was like, "why the hell do they have tape on there cars?" She thought about it for a second and then she got it.

What was that Camaro running BTW? That jank was clean as hell. My uncle had a 70.5 and he had a stroked 434 in there and was running 6.0x all day long. He had the same hood too.

LXtasy 04-26-2009 09:34 AM

I have no idea what slowgreen73 ran. But Kevin's car sure looks clean.
