For the record, I wasn't crying, just making a suggestion.

I don't see it as people bitching I see valid points. looks like the rules were set around a few vehicles only. oh there is also a difference between a ET Street and a ET drag. The ET Street is DOT legal and the ET drag is a slick. we run an ET street radial which most run here but its gotten pretty amusing to see the rules change to fit certain vehicles.

How about,
carpet/seating: hell you can pull your interior out just as easy as it is for us to install seats. quit your crying

Tires: are they rubber? Looks like they will work as long as they are round.

Track: well hands down Bowman is a better track. There is more of a chance the races will not finish at Dorchester due to debris, trains, and normal delays in racing we see nightly. if someone breaks and we are not broken, we'll gladly help get them home if they fit on the trailer. I also do not like staying too long at Dorchester for obvious reasons.

Why not throw the stips out and run what ya brung and hope you brung enough!

You can keep the "if you drive to the track bla bla bla " rules if it helps get people in the staging lanes.

Valid points = complaining. In the eyes of the TDL committee.

opinions = bitching.

The reason I say let everybody run how they sit(even allow promods if they want too) is because nobody will have to spend money or change their car. If you drive in the gate its a free win. That way will be less of a headache for all of us and their is nothing to bitch about. You say yall want to up participation but your limiting participation by running off drag cars. If some members are kind enough to help broke cars get home then I game.

If you break your car I'll drag it home for you. I'll be at most of the events. My name is Paul but I will also be known as "Top Dog"

Haha! Hey! I remember. I heard from Neal that you had an old school Challenger or Cuda. I would love to see that thing. Baring some tragedy, I'll be out there this Sat. for sure! Sounds like a good time.

Rules change daily now? New comers start at the bottom of the list and have to work their way up. Just like the rest. Let us slow guys enjoy the top for awhile. :):bigthumb:

JMHO!!!!

If he is running this month, I think he needs to start below the lowest person on the list already calling someone out.
....but
If you put him on the list for next month I think he should go above the highest person that didn't show up this month.

Ray your the one with the most time and effort putting this thing together, so you do what you want.

with Monte not showing up, i was just simply thinking it would make for more races, thats all

chucktownsrt8 03-15-2010 10:33 AM

I'll start at the top or the bottom, makes no difference to me, I'm new. I kind of understand the jist of it, but exactly how does it work?
