Weight Loss/Healthy Eating Folks...
 
Are any of you guys into having a healthy diet or ever followed one to lose weight?

What do you normally eat? What did you eat?

About 5-6 weeks ago, I cut out candy, soda and late night snacks. I drink nothing but water and so far I'm down about 18 pounds with NO exercise.

What works/worked for you?

i lost 25 lbs last year sorta doing the weight watchers thing. girl i work with is always trying to do it. replaceing sugar with aspartimine helped alot.

i have put about 5 back on. i still drink alot of soda when i'm in the garage which is basically all the time

i have never been a junk food eater

Im watching my carb intake and only drinking water as well. except for the 1 or two beers on the weekend.

if u have a smart phone u can track daily nutritional value intake...at thanksgiving I started watching my intake cuttin out junk food/soda and cuttin down on carbs...lost 8lbs in first 3 weeks with no exercise...I've lots about 5 more since then...I'm gonna start working out and hope to get back to 185/190....I'm 205 now so not too much to go...mostly wanting to firm up not lose a whole bunch

Im on the low carb. No soda or none of that. Been 2 and a half weeks. Down almost 20 lbs. But im fat

During the week I eat pretty healthy. But on the weekends I dont. But I exercise regularly.

I run 2 miles every other day. Eat a lot of chicken and veggies. I drink nothing but water and eat low fat as much as possible and cut out most sweats and snacks. I've managed to lose 45-50lbs in the past 6 months.

I used to run 5 nights a week and was in great shape. Now not so much, the wife and I are going to start running again this week though.

Holy shit, Zac. I'd be willing to bet the sodium is killing you. Try switching to water Monday and then weigh yourself the following Monday and see what happens.

Any soda is terrible for you. The body was designed to work best on water and juices.

only reason they are zero calories or zero sugar/carbs is because the substitute doesn't burn in a lab. but your body knows..

Im also trying to cut down about 20lbs... theres just no diet food i can stand. Only thing i like is chicken, but it gets old after a week. I used to be on that 10 soda a day diet like Shawnboy, now i ussually have 1 during lunch and the rest of the day ill drink water. What kind of GOOD foods are you guys eating, im pretty picky and that my problem with dieting.

i lost about 25lbs... over last few months.. most of it i contribute to work(delivering beer).. unfortunately i feel my body is plateauing and i will not loose any more by just the general physical labor.

i did that while still drinking the occasional beer after work/happy hr food.. wings/burgers ect ect(nothing healthy i can assure myself of that)

i cut soda out 3yrs ago however i cant kick the arizona lemon/rasberry teas. i drink 3/5 of them a day and usually a monster/red bull 16oz daily (usually before 9am) i feel i burn them off pretty regularly.. by 3 i pm feeling the drag of it.. however the pretzles or other snack foods i eat i feel dont do any good.(the death of being in convenience stores all day)

i really need to get back to water and lots of it.. i would proably drop 10lbs in 2month period with that alone. than when spring/summer hit and work picks up and heat kicks in i would assume another 10lbs of sweeting it out...

but who knows.. im sure if i ate or prepaired some lunch healthy food i would drop a bit to.. my realistic goal would be 180lbs i am 216-218 as i sit right now that was down from my 240 i was when i was not working.

the first 10-15lbs are usually the easiest its that second 10-15 that takes effort/dedication. blah...

I do low fat progresso soup for breakfast and sometime a light snack (rice cake) between breakfast and lunch. Lunch will usually consist of some form of grilled chicken and veggies. Dinner varies if I eat at all. Just make sure you read the nutrition table on the back of food packaging. If its more than 2-3g of fat per serving I wont eat it. Cutting out the beer and sodas helps a lot too. Remember though eating healthy is just half the equation....getting exercise is the other half. Always weigh yourself in the morning just after you wake up thats when you are the lightest and when your weight is the most consistent.

BTW I love the grilled chicken wraps from Wendys. I leave off the honey mustard and add sriracha sauce when I get home.

Im just fat, but have lost 11 lbs in 5 days, not really doing anything except cutting back on shit food. Not a big soda drinker anyway.

Plan on having 70 lbs by May...I just have no motivation.

And if my driver doesnt slow down, he'll bypass my fat ass on the scale. Jesus.
