local diner: makes chicken batter in mop buckets
 

kid in Youth Group worked there, said they only had six 5 gallon buckets,

so they used them to mop the floor, then rinsed them out, made the chicken batter in them, and then poured the batter into something to batter the chicken.

different story..
the older ladies at church, on a fixed income, liked to eat at one VERY cheap chinese buffet.

it was GROSS....it was nasty, the bathroom was FILTHY. i kept telling my wife "you can tell how dirty the kitchen is...by the Bathroom"


and guess what? one of our girls got a job there, and she said it made her stomach turn, she would NOT eat there....she carried in a sandwich from home. she had to quit, it was so despicable.

THAT finally convinced my wife not to go back.....

This is one reason why i do not eat fast food if i can avoid it.

dont eat a shitty places and this doesnt happen...

I ate dirt when i was a kid and im still alive. Just make sure everything is well done and even the cooked up roaches are perfectly healthy.

A nice dip in a hot vat of lard or oil not only makes it taste better but sterilizes at the same time, thats win-win

i think you guys are in denial...most fast food places are very dirty..
go look at a KFC, the one in Goose Creek has moss/mold growing on the cooler/display case at the counter.

fast food=filthy food.

i don't wanna post the chicken place, because in truth, if they wash the buckets out, it's no different than dropping a fork on the floor, washing it, and re-using it.

as for the buffet....you can tell by the building it's pretty bad.

Meh, it depends on where you are. I think most places are actually better than you think. I've worked at Chick-fil-a, Heavenly Ham, Outback, Moe's, Atlanta Bread Company, Palmetto Grande, I ran a Jersey Mike's for a couple years, etc. Every place I've been has been surprisingly clean. It's pretty obvious when you walk into a place whether it's going to be nasty or not. If the front of the establishment is nasty, chances are the back will be as well. Also a big indicator is the food rating on the front, if it's anything lower than an A, even a B, do NOT eat there.

Aint that the truth....Give me Chessa Track Food anyday LOL me and Randy can tear up and live off of some damn Gullah Rice now:bigthumb:

I work nights on occasion at the Virginia College and watch the cooks at C&W feed like 10 cats that hang around the back all the time. Hope they are the same ones!
