Nice for a show. All that motion up takes away from motion going forward. :dunno: rather see wheels up alittle and hauling ass forward.

this is true, i love bumper stands almost as much though but they kill your car and your times..

wade w 05-11-2008 07:41 PM

There are other ways around it. It takes a little time but the car will be faster in the end. At least up to a point. I realize once you get so fast there is no way around it. But I have seen 4 sec 1/8 mile cars run with no bars.

That was nice Morey. I have seen something real close to that right in front of me at shadyside dragway. I was so mad at my self. I was video taping and when I saw him pull up I decided not to tape him because when he ran earlier it didnt do mutch. But he sprayed on that pass. When it went up on the bumper it turned around and came back down on its roof. It stoped right in front of me with my video cam in hand.

Matts94Z28 05-11-2008 09:28 PM

I really enjoy watching these guys run. To bad they were having issues with the new setup at grudgefest in jackson because I was looking forward to watching them run again. Here are two good videos...

05Saleen 05-11-2008 09:58 PM

Jeff 05-11-2008 10:09 PM

Matts94Z28 05-12-2008 12:45 AM

Does anyone know is killin time still has the blue camaro? That car moved pretty good too!

WWhittle 05-12-2008 11:02 AM

set your suspension up right and you don't need them. set your tune right and you damn sure don't need them. And you can make anything work on a drag radial too with the right combos.

Man, that looked slow. :poke: DKB should jump all over that. Does it have "retractable wheelie bars" that pull in after the launch? :hysterical:

Excuses make you look weak.

LXtasy 05-13-2008 12:51 PM

Not my fault. I just wanted a lancer with an Evo bodykit...but the rest of the bells and whistles (more whistle than bell) had to come with it. I've figured out a way to disconnect the turbo belt, though. so I can run around N/A. I can also convert it to the less parasitic FWD by pulling the Driveline mode lever up (the lever doubles as an E-brake, apparently).

Nice. You do have a sharp OZ rally edition I may add. Can you do the Direct exhaust injection yet on your car? I think I am going to do that to mine, I am tired of not burning all my fuel.
