Well no matter if we think it is fake or not we have to launch and search where the call came from. But we got sneaky sneaky now. Any boat that talks on ch.16 we recieve a gps posistion accurate withing 500 yds of the boat on 16 as well as vsl names and all of that good stuff. But we usually stay out there a while when we get them. Fortunately thi flare call was in winyah bay ad not up in little river so it was a quick easy one. Take the night vision and look around where the call came from. Plus there were no over due vsls or anything like that. Its just a pain in the ass sometimes but unfortunately thats just a risk the CG cant take.
