2 things here...one, why do you need a trailer? and two, wtf does it matter if you have "sfc's" or not?

first of all....fuck you. To answer your questions though, I do not "need" a trailer, but if I can get my car trailered to the track and something does break, I know I don't have to have an expensive tow bill to get my car home. And as far as the SFCs, I would really like to get them on to minimize flex on my car on and off the track. They are not necessary to run my car, but they would help with things like keeping my t-tops from leaking and cutting down on all the squeaks and rattles that come from body roll and flex. Most importantly though, it is MY car.

Carlrx7 05-20-2010 12:13 PM

a tow would be nice, but i like the extra 'W' if i drive

ok, well fuck you dumb bitch. Run off at the mouth and cuss me if you want to and ill knock your head off your shoulders. Your slow shit wont have any flexing going on, so quit bitchin. I would love to see a stock auto car get trailered to the track. Thatd make me lol actually, so hopefully you do get the haul.

Yeah it was going to suck having to drive the Teg there following the truck, because it needs all the "W"'s it can get :hysterical:

Oh and this thread has totally derailed.

Talk to Jason (Jay_99z) about a stock internal auto car not flexing. You might not be up on the f bodies (I don't know) but that is a problem with these poorly engineered cars. I don't blame him for wanting the tow or the SFC's, however I don't think it would stop me from racing.

BigdaddyDupree 05-20-2010 08:33 PM

this car is bone stock though. 2.73 gears. street tires. bone stock

Mike 05-20-2010 08:33 PM

I guess I'm too late!!!!.....I was wanting a tow. Sucks driving my truck now without ac and power steering. :hide:

Like Tyler said. Stock on street tires=no flex. Not to mention I asked a 2 simple questions and got a "fuck you" so he can kiss my nuts.

MonteC 05-20-2010 09:07 PM

SFC's on a stock fbody is a good idea. Thirdgens especially, they flex bad even with normal street driving. The roof will crack where the door jamb is.

Jason's was bone stock, minus stall but here was going off DR's.

SFC's, as Rob said are a great idea. They would be (and were my first mod) however I personally wouldn't ever race on street tires seems kind of pointless to me, but what the hell do I know my car just sits on jackstands.

Yea, maybe he needs SFCs so he will then need that trailer to get there! Its probably a frame twisting mofo...in hiding.

Derek 05-20-2010 09:35 PM

4th gen fbody poorly engineered?

Derek 05-20-2010 09:40 PM

well i have had to replace window motors in every 4th gen ive owned.

The car is on 315 Nitto drag radials.

BigdaddyDupree 05-21-2010 09:19 AM

like i said street tires.

Illusions 05-21-2010 11:15 AM

still the tires are wide and sticky enough to twist the body on a hard launch. mustangs have the same problem once sticky tires are used. we can debate this until the cows come home if you'd like. ;) Unibody Sucks!

clubracergt1 05-21-2010 11:55 AM

You have cows???
