2001 silver lightning
 

I hate to have to do this but I lost my job and its got to go. Most of you know my truck. Its in good shape. Not perfect but decent. It has 61,500 on it right now. Only mods are a 6# lower, cai, lowering shackles and clear corners. The heads have been changed to 6 thread heads. Everything else is stock. Im just going to ask what I have to have for it to get it gone. $12,000

Exhaust it stock? Are the shackles adjustable? Any major dings or scratches?

Yes the exhaust is stock. A cat back doesnt really help unless your making more than 500 on a lightning and I like to hear the supercharger. No the shackles are not adjustable. I do still have the stock ones. Anything that has been changed on the truck I still have the stock parts for. It just got a rock chip on the hood. I put some touch up paint on it, but you can still tell its there. I took that one pic of the front down low so you could see it doesnt have any curb rash. The wheels have a few small scratches in them but nothing major. Ill get a pic of the rock chip so you can see it.

I like a good sounding exhaust. Have the silencers in the sc been closed?

Not sure what you mean by that. But the SC is stock. The only thing that makes it loud is the open air filter. Maybe the 6# lower. Oh yea the lower is a 2piece metco. So you can get whatever size ring you want for it and not have to change the whole thing. I also have a two fan set up on the heat exchanger. Its wired up so when the pump comes on it turns the fans on or you can just turn them on to cool the motor down with out it running.

I read that there are silencer holes in the SC that you can plug that make it louder. THe fans are on a sensor and a swtich?

OK. Now I know what your talking about. The holes are in the bottom of the supercharger and would have to be welded up. Im not sure what turns the pump on but what ever it is I have it wired in to a relay that turns everything on and then I have a switch that can turn it all on thru the relay also. I made it very easy to put back stock if you wanted to.

wanted to show the bed without th bed rug. Didnt clean it up, but you can see its not all scratched up. Not perfect. It has been used. Has some scratches and small dents, but nothing major.

Here is the rock chip I just got. I touched it up, but the touch up paint doesnt really match. Im sure a touch up guy could do much better.

No tonnel cover? Looks clean though. What stereo is it? Single disk or indash 6? Is the stearing wheel worn out?

I do have a tonneau cover for it. I just dont like it much so Ive had it off. Its a hard cover.It has a 6 disk changer behind the pasanger seat. Stereo is a tape deck. All factory. Steering wheel is in great shape.

So the cover is one of the big thick ones?

Its fiberglass if thats what you mean. Its on the truck in the pic in my sig. Cant see much of it there, but you can see it. Ill set it on the back of the truck and take a pic tomorow.

How many passes have you done? What times did you get?

Ive had the truck for almost 4 years. I have no idea how many passes Im made with the truck. The best pass is a 8.13 I think.
