i miss my old job...

so, back when i lived in charlotte, i used to manage the warehouse for an international freight and third party logistics company... one of our customers was a german guy who is co-owner of mov-it brakes (http://www.movitbrakes.com/)... this guy has a love for (mostly) american cars, and the money to back it up, so he was always buying stuff and having it shipped to him... part of my job was to oversee the packing of the containers, as well as helping set up transport and delivery of the cars to us state-side from all over the country so that we could ship them to him... my boss (another german guy) was also big into cars as well... here are some of my old pictures of cars/parts we got in for him and some of the boss' cars... i only got a few pics of the boss' cars but when i left the company he was using a ML55 amg as his DD, and had a custom wide-body, race prepped 86 911 targa, 06 AM v-12 vantage, 86 328gts, 335ci, and an 08 x3... i always loved taking these cars across town for him for service lol... anyways, on to the pics

various corvette rims/tires, an ls6 and ls7 crate motor, and various other parts awaiting shipment

one of MANY old 60-63ish chryslers we sent overseas... this one is a 61 windsor... most of the other ones we sent over i didnt have time to get pics of, or dont have pics anymore but of note were a 69 cougar, 5x plymouth belvedere, 6x dodge matador, 73 eldorado with 9,xxx miles, 73 sedan deville, 07 gt-350, 08 gt-500, 57 chevy big block car, and a 63 lincoln continental

That's awesome man. I have always wanted a job that changed every day, and gave me the opportunity to see different things every day while still paying well and keeping me challenged.

Good luck finding something up there.

Do what you love and you will never work another day in your life.
