Which coil over spring?
Bout to order some springs for the Mustang was wondering what weight springs yall are running on your cars. What length 12 or 14 inch and what pound rating? I'm looking for the weight transfer and a decent ride. What do yall recommend?

front or back? i have some 14 150s for the front that were too soft for my heavy ass car. They are brand new if you want to try them out and see how they work on your car.

Front of the car. I have coil overs now, they are 14 inch. Adjustment was all the way slack and the car still sat like a 4x4. I think I had 12 inch springs on the red car.

yeah i went with 14s just because they squashed down and gave me something to work with up or down. Either way they are just sitting in a box, they are supposed to be good street/strip springs.

I have QA1s on mine. It gets LOOOW if thats what youre looking for. I drove it about 5 miles with them set as low as possible...it was all it took to realize that scraping the center of 17a in Summerville just driving along SUCKED. I went and parked on a curb and took em up a good bit. They rode great when I DD'ed the car. If you need me to measure em, I can tomorrow.

FWIW, I have Strange coil overs w/ 275lb 14'' springs and they are adjusted half way up the shock body. My car is a lighter than most know, but I still wish I would have went with a 300lb spring. Find you some hypercoils on the cheap.

Silly chevy guys. The coilovers on Moostangs just slit right over a stock style strut. They are giving them away. No need for a full replacement coilover like afco's. I already have them on the car but they are too stiff. The coilover conversion comes with the k-member and arms that I am about to purchase.

I have 14" 175lbs. 12" is what the fast guys run in either 150 or 175 depending on the weight. Mine is heavy so I like the 175's.

Thanks Paul. I'm gonna go with the 14-150s I think.
