New Dragstrip near Beaufort,Bluffton,Hilton Head,SC
 

Interested in building one. Trying to gather info now. Can you guys point me in the right direction? I think we're in a prime location right off I-95 boarder of SC and GA. Probably Hardeeville would be the best place. They talking about building a casino why not a dragstrip?

Yeah we have to drive at least 2 hours to our closest track. Would be nice to have one close and be a 1/4 on top of that.

Hope you have TONS of funding for the initial building. People talk about doing it all the time and find out how much it actually costs. Yellowbullet is full of good info on attempting new tracks. Ide love to have more tracks, but honestly if you arnt a millionaire its hard to start one.

dont talk about it, be about it, dont worry about feedback, if you build a 1/4 mile track near that location it will draw people

The stretch of 26 between collage park and main street is at least a few miles...

Exactly, even from here to harleeville is still hour and a half drive. For that I'll drive the extra 45 minutes and go to darlington.

Savannah river dragway is about 1 hour from hardeeville. Its in sylvania, Georgia. Takes me exactly 2 hours to get there from west Ashley.

1/8 mile track.

I know if I was still in beaufort I would love it! I use to drag out about 15-20 other marines off the base with cars to drive up to the house of spin.

Dorcherster is fun if you like worrying about smacking guard railings if your car likes to get crazy.
