The Shelby mustang and the new camaro would run the same with DRs.

There's a couple different horsepowered Shelby's, aren't there? I remember seeing Mr. Shelby on the SPEED Channel talking about the big dog 700+hp one. |

JK watch the camera man at the wall, I think he had the flash on  |
I really wish someone would come out with a higher gear ratio for z06/zr1 rears. we are all stuck with 3.42's with the 9-3/4 ring

Yep, I'd give up 200 mph capabilities to pick up a few tenths to get to the top of 4th gear. Not sure if my speedo is off because I now have 345's on the car or not but I am not able to reach those speeds in my gears 1st-4th. I'm assuming the coefficient of drag was not taken into consideration by looking at the top speed for 5th and 6th. |

Jeff, i think you just being a lil girl scared to hit the lmiter! I watched our race and it looks like i was winding my z51 higher than yours. soft limiter kicks in at 7100 and the hard limiter hits at 7200rpm, if you have good springs, i dont see an issue going up that high. As much as I wanted this car to put itself back on the map, I think it does many things well, but just missed the mark because of chassis weight. The technology is there, the handling has improved 10-fold, the horsepower is lower than it should be because "Corvette politics" prevented it from having more. I'm just not sure how it weighs so much with modern day composites and aluminum blocks ?!!?!?!BAFFLED?!?!?!? Apparently Chrysler doomed the SRT-8 Challenger in the same fashion. |
