Yeah, you'd think they would at least have a face shield or glasses, or any type of eye protection......and some gloves too.... Jobsite safety just wasn't a priority, nor requirement, back then...

Yes. The lack of safety glasses at the least is pretty crazy. Did they have steel toes back then?

I do not know how many of you have had to pleasure of starting a cut in the middle of a plate of steel with an oxy-acetolene torch before, but on the 12" plate still had to suck even with a tracked torch.

Its awesome to see this stuff. Its amazing what we can do today, but seeing them do it with no technology is staggering
