Drove a caprice with a tvs 2300 today
 

We have been working on getting SLP in our dealership and we have a tvs 2300 in stock now for the 2011+ camaros. Well we also got a panther camaro and today the SLP rep stopped in and wanted to show me his new toy he was driving. Brand new Caprice with 6.0 and a tvs 2300 blower. I looked at it and it was nice well he asked me if i wanted to drive it so of course i took the oppurtunity. Car was a blast to drive and if you didnt go past about 1/2 throttle it was no whine at all. But at WOT it had a nice whine to it. I did multiple 45-120 pulls and the car was smooth. I have a few cell phone pics ill try to upload later.

I've driven a few at work. 6.0 only. Good power, Crappy ride.

The g8 and caprice platform is a sports sedan. They aren't made to ride nice. Buy a caddy or a buick if you want ride quality in a GM product.

I was under the impression that the 6.0 Caprice wasn't going to be available to civilians????? I originally heard it was for Police Pursuit Vehicle use only???

There are a few for sale on eBay right now

it is only gonna be available through gm to police.

The "Chevy SS" is going to be the civilian version. The normal Caprice will probably be a 3.6L v6
