Go plasma.. dont waste your money on LED LCD's.. Just compare refresh rates, plasma>any LCD. Unless you like to watch TV where all the motion leaves trails when the camera moves fast.. or you're watching say football or a race. Personally, me and the wife have a 60 inch 3D Plasma Samsung. Our friends come over and quickly start disliking their ultra bright for no reason LED LCD. If you shop around you could easily land a top end plasma for around $1k. Awesome shop by the way.

CHEVYMAN434 11-12-2012 11:18 PM

Yeah,i ended up with a lg 60pm6700...Its a plasma smart tv with 3-d and all that stuff...Gonna be hooking up everything tomo, but i think its gonna be a good deal...Espicially for a garage....lol

So start to finish now with lighting and all how much you got invested in it?

I will probably be moving upstate in about 6 months to start with Scana and plan to buy a house with at least 5 acres and build a garage/shop that is detached. My two car at my house is a little on the small side and sucks because the fumes get into the house from time to time causing the wife to start bitching.

The lighting and wiring was not to bad..It was about a grand in parts.....So with the wiring, lift, and the shop itself i got about 25k in it...And here's a pic of the tv hung on a full motion bracket...

I was able to build a eork table today..It's 4 ft wide and 12 ft long...I built it all out of 2x6...Its super sturdy!!
