Pics of my old engine stuff from the rebuild
I had my engine builder mail me the junk parts that got replaced when he rebuilt the engine. I took some pics of everything he sent me so here it is...
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ngineParts.jpg Here's all the piston rings... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts1.jpg Here's all the bearing that were replaced... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts2.jpg All the valve guides. I know there's only 15 of them. The box had a hole in it so I guess one fell out.... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts3.jpg http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ineParts11.jpg The valve springs... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts4.jpg Here's the one that was broken... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ineParts17.jpg http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ineParts18.jpg The exhaust valves... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts6.jpg The intake valves... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts7.jpg All of the intake valves had Patriot monogramed on them. You can barely see it... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ineParts12.jpg One of the chains and the chain guides... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts9.jpg The stock oil pump was replaced with the new Melling pump... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...gineParts8.jpg Here's what the inside of the oil pump looks like in case you've ever wondered... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...ineParts10.jpg I feel a lot better now that all the cheap/wrong Patriot Performance crap is out of my engine. It now has the proper valve guides installed the proper way, REAL Manley valves, Crower valve springs that were matched with my Crower cams, and all new piston rings. |
