Fuel Sending Unit/04 Cobra
 

So I just got my FSU in from Ford.(Roll Tide) My guage doesn't register and I know they went into the tank and she has also been sitting up for a few years. This part...is so simplistic I have a hard time believing it is faulty. Any thoughts on this?

Its a bitch to install it right. I had to pull mine 3 times before it would read right. Theres all kinds of stuff in the tank that the arm will get caught on when putting the hat back in. I highly doubt its bad if it was working before you took the hat off. I had the best luck by putting the arm down in at a angle first to make sure it didnt catch or sit up on anything, then slowly putting the hat down on the tank. Be sure that wire stays dry too.
