lifter question
 

I'm wanting to change my stock block 302 from hydraulic to solid lift, what all needs to be done to do the switch, is it easy as just switching lifters and checking push rods or is there more to it like will i have to change springs and everything

what kinda lift are you running with the hydro's? nitrous motor?

.574 intake and .595 exhaust but says it's a hydraulic Cam, would it hurt the cam if i put solid lifters on it

I don't think it would matter, just make sure they are solid roller lifters

As long as it's a roller cam, go for it. Sounds like a Trick flow stage 3. I've seen plenty of guys run hydraulic roller cams with solid roller lifters with success. Yes, you should change the valvesprings in the heads if they are for hydraulic.

oooh so you arent changing the cam, just lifters. yea that shouldnt be a big deal and wont affect the springs any different than they were before. i did the same thing on my LT1 car. (solid lifters on a hydro cam) just dont expect any measurable gains. i would probably splurge and do a cam/lifters/springs.
