I'm about 90% set on a Seafox 256 between the 2007-2010 year area. I prefer a single 250-300, but if I can find a similar priced low hour twin 150 setup id be ok with it. I don't plan to do much off shore stuff, just want a smooth riding reliable boat.

This was one of two I wanted that got away.. (deposit put down before I could) Not in a huge rush, but I hope to have one by next summer.

you may want to do some research on the bigger singles especially with yamaha's.. their is known corrosion issues in the exhaust housing as well as a flywheel issue on the 300's basically every 300 hours logged the flywheel needs to be replaced.. the fuel burn with the 200-250s(twin setups) is very similar.. even with 4 strokes a decent burn rate is 18 gallons an hour at 4000rpms thats with 3/4 passangers ice and regular gear.. of course those numbers can go up or down.
if your really planning on near/offshore i would highly consider a twin setup. it does create twice the maintenance.

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!! I heard something about a bunch of jet guys getting orders, but thought you were locked in!

Yeah I was supposed be, but my hero of a ex boss didn't turn in my code. So a year into a 3 year deal, I got orders.
