Head gasket or condensation?
Below are some pictures of what I found while changing the intake today. Keep in mind the car has only been started or short periods of time over the last 4 months and I do have a malfunctioning PCV system due to an intake gasket leak. There was no suction at all at the oil fill cap while the car was running so I think that's why there is moisture in the pictures. I drained the oil and it was a little more brownish and a little bit thinner than unsual, but it was not followed by any water at all. The good thing is that I have not lost a drop of water from my coolant system. What do yall think?

if it has the plastic gaskets for the intake they are known to leak

mine did that too- just condensation i would say. there is something you can put in the oil to keep it from doing that.

mine looked the same way when I changed my oil 2 weeks ago. |
Thanks guys... I am also leaning towards condensation. I will have the new intake on tomorrow and see how things go next week.
