here is a guy i know that does shitty exhaust work but can build you a 18'' street converter around a 6700 stall like you need here is his number call around 3 o'clock AM he will only pick up on the 7th call so just keep trying 200-3796 |
3600 is prefect for a stock car with a gear, but it still gives you room to grow when you do a cam and heads. I have a 3800 from Cameron in mine right now and love it.

Put a stick in it!
Nah, Hell, I don't know jack about convertors. Before anyone else has a chance to say it, call Mr. Cameron. |
Mr. Cameron will charege you around $700 to buy one of his converters, you can save a TON of money if you buy a used TCI for cheap and send it to him. He re-stalled mine, replaced the lock up and made a few other adjustments for $175.

3200 for a stock or light build. 3600 if you plan to h/c/I mod, run nitrous or FI.

Agreed. 3600 is great for a car that sees a lot of street use. I loved mine when I had it. It comes down to how much you can tolerate though. I had a 4200 for a couple years and now have a Yank 4400. Not a huge difference between the 3600 and 4200 in track times but I was looking to get every little bit out of it when I was racing. My vote.....3600-3800. |
