Mystery to me!
I had Gerald change the blue car from the traction lock carrier, that had the one wheel peel syndrome, to a Richmond spool and "C" clip eliminators. No gear change, same drag radials and all. The car changed from 8.03-8.05 in the brackets to 7.85-7.88. How does this happen? Lighter rotating weight, maybe a radial was slipping all the way down the track, I don't have a clue. I am happier with the car, not having to make sure the other wheel is spinning. My son even made a few passes, and ran 7.90, 7.89, and 7.91. I guess its consistant, just a little faster. Mystery to me...:bigthumb:

Darryl,
I don't understand it either. Every time I think I have the law of physics figured out, someone has to throw a wrench in the works. I always like a mental challenge. |
