10.5 outlaw at carolina

for the most part no one made a GREAT pass but there was this one full size C10 chevy 4X4, yes really 4 wheel drive in the 10.5 class with a blown big block. What a sight to see all 4 10.5 tires spinning!

That truck is bad ass! Its a verrrry different setup than anything else out there, thats for sure. Last night, the only decent pass he made, he blew all 4 tires off, pedalled it, got back in it, and rolled all 4 again....all this on a footbrake, or leaving from idle. He never got up on a transbrake. Bad ass truck.
Oh yeah, they said it still weighed in at 4000 lbs

LXtasy 07-26-2009 12:21 PM

I wouldn't doubt its weight. It is a truck and trucks in general are heavier than a car. That truck was pure evil, I like it.

Seems like it would be real hard to do a good burnout.

Thats what I thought, but the 10.5 cars dont do big burnouts, and the truck did one out of the waterbox, past the tree, and it was cool to see smoke barrreling out of the front and back fender wells lol.

Few chitty vids from HOH

Inside lane carried the left tire about 6 inches up at least half track, car was twisting up like crazy!

Tryed to get a decent vid of KT, lynch and some of the other big names but none of them made a decent pass saturday.

The car in this video that is carrying the tire halfway down the track-
ProLine built that motor for the guy on a shoestring budget. It is a Dart Block, Eagle crank and rods and some decent pistons. AFR 225 heads straight out of the box with no work, and a cast edelbrock manifold straight out of the box with no work. Strapped a 94mm turbo on it and I believe he has been a 5.09. That is DAMN impressive for what alot of people in this type of racing would consider a junk motor. It just goes to show you that some of these parts (like and eagle rotating assembly) might be better than they get credit for. That car is probably making 1400 hp.

slowgreen99 07-27-2009 09:06 PM

orsca is awesome....except the "hot street" class

Dunno exactly....but i know it has to do with pully combo

110% would be a 59 tooth lower and a 28 upper

On what type of blower? Or is it just a number game that applies to any blower?

Because if it applies to any blower mine is about 300% overdriven. LMAO

WTFWSAT 07-27-2009 09:39 PM

littlefield 14-71

wade w 07-28-2009 06:29 PM

Im fairly sure its any blower. The 110% would be just over twice that of the crank. Thats alot for a big blower.
