Saleen S331 Truck Video
|
I saw that video too. I was looking for racing footage and couldnt find any. Ive never even seen one of these trucks on the road. what gives?
|
Well I "heard" that i is faster than a stock L but will it be able to keep up with a modded L? Not sure. but I do know you will probably be able to do with that truck the same thing you can do to an L and still keep it pretty damn close. Just y 2 cents. ....... and thats probably nt even worth a shit :wak:

The truck is no where near the performance of a stock L. JDM has one right now and it was well in the 14's when they started. Their goal is to get it in the 12's with some bolt on's. They will figure out the combination to make it run well, but it will take a little while.
BTW, our trucks have a curb weight of 4,760 lbs., (Ford's #'s). Mine weighed 4,850 at Atlanta Dragway's scales with me in it, and 5,010 with fuel according to the landfill. I believe the Atlanta scales, because Mike's truck weighed nearly the same as mine and I had the hard cover on mine. |

Well, it depends on what you are after.
Performance styling nametag handling etc etc |
the saleen powerplant in that truck in a 2.3L whipple, it makes about 450bhp (380ish or so to the wheels). THe problem with the truck is the fact its based on an extended cab and has 23x10 inch wheels. If you drive down dorchester in the mid-mornings, there is a white one at some "tavern" bar across the street from bosch every day. I certainly hope the guy owns the bar or he's the biggest alcoholic ever LOL. They are gorgeous trucks, they are decently fast...just not L fast. Its probably more comparable to a Harley f150 then an L

well i got 3 years to save up and make up my mind. You will be seeing something when i get back......... just undecided on what.
